Information: This is a joint event with all the other JISC RSCs.

Mobile learning can provide flexible and timely communications with teachers and learners; changing what is possible in education, as well as enabling access to learning resources allowing learners the flexibility to study wherever and whenever they choose. It can provide active learning experiences and the empowerment and engagement of the learners.

It can be many things to different groups of people. On the surface it appears from the outside to be learning via mobile devices such as smartphones, MP3 players, laptops and tablets. Most certainly, these are important in enabling mobile learning, however this session aims to offer delegates an insight into the emerging practice in mobile learning taking on board inclusive teaching and learning.
Target Audience: This session is for anyone who is interested in using mobile devices in education, and will showcase some of the best practices in emerging technologies.
