WELCOME TO IWSEC2008

Following the success of past workshops in this series, ISEC and CSEC
are delighted to host the Third International Workshop on Security,
IWSEC2008, on November 25-27, 2008, in Kagawa, Japan.

The complex structure of networks, middleware, agents, P2P

communal and public use, brought forth the advent of information
society in the cyberspace. However the system poses new and diverse
threats to the world. It is imperative for the security researchers
to look into the issues from an interdisciplinary perspective.

The aim of IWSEC2008 is to contribute to security research and
development addressing the topics?from traditional theory and tools
on security to up-to-date issues.

- Cryptography
- Authorization and Access Control
- Biometrics
- Information Hiding
- Quantum Security
- Network and Distributed Systems Security
- Privacy Enhancing Technology
- Security Issues in Ubiquitous/Pervasive Computing
- Security Management
