ICSM 2012 - 2012 International Conference on Software Maintenance (ICSM 2012)
Topics/Call fo Papers
Welcome to the home page of the 2012 International Conference on Software Maintenance (ICSM 2012).
ICSM is the premiere international venue in software maintenance and evolution, where participants from academia, government, and industry meet and share ideas and experiences for solving critical software maintenance problems.
ICSM 2012 will be held in Riva del Garda, Trento, Italy. Riva del Garda (it is also known as Riva) is a small city located at the north-western corner of Lake Garda, in the middle of the Alps. Riva in fact is bordered by Mount Rocchetta to the west and Monte Brione to the east. However, due to the presence of the lake, the weather favors the Mediterranean vegetation: lemon trees, olive trees, laurel and palm trees, Riva is an oasis of Mediterranean at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites.
The city of Riva has a strong Renaissance mark, including several buildings with frescos, and medieval churches. Particularly relevant to visit are: the Museo Civico located in the Rocca, a medieval fortress placed on the lake, bounded by a canal with lifting bridge; the S. Maria Assunta Church, an important example of Baroque architecture; the Apponale Tower, formerly a place of commerce and trade fairs. The surroundings of Riva offer beautiful naturalistic tracks aroung the lake, on top of mountains, and nearby ancient castles. Moreover, Riva has a strong vocation to sports: sailing and windsurfing on the lake, but also walking, cycling, mountain biking, tennis, boating.
More information about Riva del Garda is available at: http://www.gardatrentino.it/it/riva-del-garda/.
We look forward to seeing you in Riva del Garda in September!
