ISSWOV 2012 - 13th Biennial Conference of the International Society for the Study of Work and Organizational Values

Goa is a small state in the western part of India. It touches the Arabian Sea on the west, and hilly regions of rather steep Western Ghatson its eastern side. It is about 400 kilometres away from both Mumbai and Bangalore. It is well connected to other cities of India via air, rail and road. The conference will be held from June 25th to 27th, 2012. Goa is traditionally known for its golden beaches and architectural beauty. It also offers gastronomical delights in the form of seafood, and vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes from various parts of the world.
The venue of the conference will be the Cidade-de-Goa Hotel. Goa University will be the main host of the conference. The conference organizing committee co-chairs are: R. Nirmala (nirmala-AT-unigoa.ac.in) and Abhishek Goel agoel-AT-iimcal.ac.in).
The theme of the conference is “Work Values: Stability and Change in the Global Context". The scientific committee chair for this conference, Maaja Vadi (Maaja.vadi-AT-ut.ee), encourages scholars to submit their papers on the general area of work values, as well as (but not limited to) ethics, leadership, work-family conflict, cross-cultural perspectives, motivation, human resource management, diversity management, organizational change and development, corporate governance, organizational culture, and organizational behavior in general. Submissions may be in the form of oral presentation, poster presentation, or symposium. Continuing in the tradition of the previous conferences, selected papers from the conference will be considered for publication in a book or in special issues of leading journals.
