IWEKSS 2012 - The 4th International Workshop on Engineering Knowledge and Semantic Systems (IWEKSS 2012)
Topics/Call fo Papers
As information systems get more complex, it becomes more difficult to integrate those using traditional approaches. Over recent years there has been a significant increase in interest in knowledge management applications that undertake problem solving based on interactions between uncoupled components. Many issues such as agent-based integration and nature-inspired approaches to knowledge management still remain open.
The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners in areas of knowledge management and ontology-based systems, agents and nature-inspired computing to share their research achievements and solutions, to resolve the challenge issues and to establish worldwide cooperative research and development. This will give an opportunity to push further the discussion upon the potential of knowledge integration across many communities. Papers describing mathematical models, algorithms, protocols, tools, evaluation methods, and experimental studies of knowledge management & nature-inspired computing are solicited for this workshop.
