The 2012 Conference Committee would like to cordially invite you to attend the 2012 IEEE IAS Pulp & Paper Industry Technical Conference planned to be held at The Nines Hotel in Portland, Oregon June 17-21, 2012.
The Nines is a spectacular venue, one of the premium brands of the Starwood properties, which was recently named to Travel + Leisure's 2011 Top 500 List and is a LEED Silver-certified hotel.
Besides our normal technical events, attendees will have access to the riverfront and beautiful downtown Portland, Oregon ? the City of Roses. The local committee has secured rooms at a $169/night rate and we encourage all attendees to come early or stay late, immersing yourselves in the many shops, restaurants and site-seeing venues offered by this enchanting city in the Pacific Northwest.
As the program is not yet finalized, please let us know if you have any ideas or suggestions for our local committee. We are also looking for additional folks who are interested in helping with the Local Conference Committee. Please contact me if you are able to serve.
