GCIS 2012 intends to be a global forum for researchers and engineers to present and discuss recent innovations and new techniques in intelligent systems and their applications.
GCIS 2012 conference proceedings will be submitted to Ei Compendex and ISTP for indexing (GCIS 2009 and GCIS 2010 proceedings were already indexed in Ei Compendex). Selected papers will be published in SCI-indexed journal special issues after expansion, review, and revision as required. The registration fee of US$420 or RMB 2700 includes publication of 1 paper, lunches, dinners, and banquet.
Specific topics of interest include, but are not limited to: artificial intelligence, machine learning, intelligent control and automation, computational intelligence, soft computing, nature-inspired computation, bio-inspired algorithms, neuro-fuzzy techniques, genetic and evolutionary algorithms, semantic web, etc..
Beijing is one of the most visited cities in the world, with hundreds of attractions and many UNESCO World Heritage Sites waiting for you to explore! The Forbidden City was the home of the emperors in the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911). The Temple of Heaven (Tiantan) was where the emperors prayed to Heaven for good harvests. The Summer Palace shows a comprehensive collection of imperial gardens and palaces. Located at the outskirts of urban Beijing are the Thirteen Tombs of Ming emperors and five sections of the Great Wall. Besides, Beijing boasts of interesting courtyard houses ("siheyuan") and alleys ("hutong"), theme museums, parks and gardens. The Olympic sites are big magnets for both international and domestic tourists.
