rchm 2011 - 2011 THU International Healthcare Management Academy Conference
Topics/Call fo Papers
The 2011 THU International Healthcare Management Academy Conference will be jointly held by School of Economics and Management and School of Medicine in Tsinghua University. As Chinese government carries out experimental work in public hospitals reformation, this symposium aims to exchange practical experience on operation management of medical institutions and share achievements on reform and development. Experts and scholars from home and abroad, managers of medical institutions as well as leaders concerned will be invited to exchange and deliberate theoretical and practical problems in operation and management of medical institutions. All researchers and practices on medical healthcare management are welcome to send articles to us! The format is as follows:
Targets:
People from universities and colleges, research institutes, heath authorities and related, medical institutions, social groups or any other divisions undertaking researches of medical health services management.
Topics of interest include: (not restricted)
Ø Medical policies (the reform of public hospitals) and the innovation of hospital management
Ø Construction and analysis of application of medical institutions’ information system
Ø Medical safety, quality management and clinical pathway management
Ø Human resource management and financial management of medical institutions
Ø Public health emergency management
Ø Community and grass-root health service
Instructions for paper submission
? Submission:
Papers must be submitted by email. Please send your paper to this email address: rchm-AT-sem.tsinghua.edu.cn and leave your contact information in your mail for our further connection. Once having received the papers, Committee on the Procedures will inform the authors by email or phone.
Deadline: August 31st, 2011
? Paper Limit and Formatting:
1. All submissions must be original work unpublished on any official publications.
2. Each paper should be between 5000-8000 words. Explicit viewpoints, sufficient arguments and reliable data will be appreciated.
3. Each submission must be added a summary and key words within 500 words in both Chinese and English.
4. Author’s institution, name, gender, date of birth, degree, positions/tittles, research topics, foundation item, address, post code and contact information must be indicated under the title of the paper.
5. All the references in the paper should be marked with footnotes by order.
? Publication and presentation:
The conference calls for academic paper about the innovation of management of the medical institutions. Once admitted, the paper will be included in the conference paper collection, and would be published on academic journals according to competitive selection.
