ACC 2012 - International Conference on Advances in Cloud Computing (ACC-2012)
Topics/Call fo Papers
Cloud computing assembles large networks of virtualized services: hardware resources (CPU, storage, and network) and software resources (e.g., databases, message queuing systems, monitoring systems, load-balancers). Cloud providers give organizations the option to deploy their application over a network of infinite resource pool with practically no capital investment and with modest operating cost proportional to the actual use. It is believed that the new wave of computing will be based on Cloud Computing. Considering the importance of Cloud Computing in the days to come, Computer Society of India, the largest body of IT professionals in the country is launching the conference series on Advances in Cloud Computing (ACC) to provide an international forum for researchers, professionals, and industrial practitioners to share their knowledge in the rapidly growing area of Cloud Computing.
The first edition will be held in Bangalore in July 2012.
The conference will have both Invited and Contributed papers on different aspects of Cloud Computing.
Researchers are invited to submit full research papers to the ACC 2012 on topics of interests which include but not limited to:
Approaches for Migrating Enterprise and Scientific Applications to Clouds
Application Architectures
Resource Orchestration
Application Workload Modeling
Application Auto-scaling Modeling
Scalable Models for Application Health Monitoring
Energy-efficiency Models for Provisioning Hardware Resources
Industrial and Experimental Infrastructure Enabling Hybrid Environments
Innovative Scientific, Business, and Internet Service Applications
Virtualization of Hardware and Software Resources
Brokering and Optimization
Performance Comparison Studies
Programming Models
Pricing Models
Support for Scalable and Elastic Services
New Parallel / Concurrent Programming Models
Support for Mobile Applications and Content Delivery Networks
Data Security, Privacy, and Jurisdiction
All papers must be submitted electronically and in PDF format. The material presented should be original and not published or under submission elsewhere. Authors should submit full papers of up to 8 pages, following strictly the IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Manuscript style (available at http://www.computer.org/portal/web/cscps/formattin...), using two-column, single-space format, with 10-point font size. Figures and references must be included in the 8 pages. Oversized papers will be automatically rejected by the PC chairs. At least one of the authors of each accepted paper must register early to attend the conference, in order for the paper to appear in the conference proceedings. All papers should be submitted online using EasyChair submission system: http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=acc2012
Important Dates
Deadline for paper submission : January 28, 2012
Notification of Acceptance : March 31, 2012
Deadline for camera ready papers : May 5, 2012
