netsec 2011 - 2011 International Workshop on Network & System Security
Topics/Call fo Papers
As computers and computing devices become more pervasive and vulnerable, they face versatile and threats ranging from inside threats to large-scales attacks from outside. The International Workshop on Network and System Security, held with The 17th IEEE International Conference on Parallel and Distributed System (ICPADS), is a security community of researcher and scientists, engineers and practitioners dedicated to advancing the state of the art of research and practice in network and system security.
We aims to provide a forum for presenting original, unpublished research results and innovative ideas on the fundamental contributions and mathematics behind network & system forensics, surveillance, intrusion detection and application security that incorporated these features.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Intrusion detection of known or unknown attacks
Intrusion prevention and incident response
Digital forensics and electronic evidence
Mobile malware analysis technology
Web application security
Botnets, viruses and malware detection
Log analysis and data visualization
Anti-phishing, anti-spam, anti-fraud techniques
Security for wireless, mobile networks
Security of person communication systems
Vehicular Ad-hoc network (VANETs) security
Submission Information:
Submissions should include abstract, 5-10 keywords, and the e-mail address of the corresponding author and be in PDF format. Each submission must not exceed 8 pages in the IEEE 8.5¡¦¡¦ x 11¡¦¡¦ two-column format with 10-12 point font, including tables and figures.
