“Defense Resources Management in the 21st century” is the 6th scientific conference with international attendance organized by the Center for Research in Defense Resources Management, a research entity in the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies (DRESMARA), Brasov, to be held on the 2nd-3rd December 2011.

The aim of the event is to enhance the collaboration among scientists and researchers focused on the current challenges raised by the international environment for the defense and security establishments worldwide. As a result, the topics of interest to be approached during the conference are:
trends and challenges in defense resources management as a result of environmental and security changes worldwide;
current relevant issues raised by the theoretical and practical operationalization of the concept of integrated defense resources management ensuing from Romania’s membership to NATO and EU.

In order to ensure academic quality standards the papers submitted are to be reviewed by a scientific committee and accepted upon their final approval.

The deadlines are as follows:
30th September 2011 ? title and abstract submission
5th October ? title and abstract confirmation
31st October ? paper submission
7th November ? paper acceptance confirmation
15th November ? conference fee payment.
