Topics/Call fo Papers
We invite submission of original unpublished research reports, work in progress, and reports based on the conference focus areas. Regular papers (8 pages) which provide detailed expositions of new research or applications; short paper (4 pages) which provide short discussions of new technical concepts or developments, or new applications of existing techniques; and case studies or software reviews (8 pages) which will evaluate existing applied computing software systems, discussing the experience gained and lessons learnt from using or developing such systems in an operational environment.
Track 1: Principles and practice of software engineering
Research in principles and practice of software engineering spans various dimensions. Software engineering is a creative design activity which must be practiced systematically. Thus, we need to increase our confidence in our development efforts by emphasizing the need for rigor as a necessary complement to creativity in this discipline.

The goal of this track is to examine impediments in teaching cutting-edge techniques in Software Engineering and Applied Computing and to identify how the educational activities in this area can be improved.
