PacificVis 2012 - 2012 IEEE Pacific Visualization Symposium (PacificVis)
Topics/Call fo Papers
The 5th IEEE Pacific Visualization Symposium (PacificVis 2012) will be held in Songdo, Korea from February 28 to March 2, 2012. PacificVis is an IEEE sponsored international visualization symposium held in the Asia-Pacific region, with the objective to foster greater exchange between visualization researchers and practitioners, and to draw more researchers in the Asia-Pacific region to enter this rapidly growing area of research.
Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished research and practical applications in all areas of visualization. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
Visualization Taxonomies and Models
Spatial Data in Visualization
Non-Spatial Data in Visualization
Display and Interaction Technology
Hardware for Visualization
Evaluation and User Studies
Large Data Visualization
Visual Analysis and Knowledge Discovery
Time-varying Data Visualization
Applications
Graph Drawing
Collaborative / Social Visualization
Security Visualization
Network Visualization
All accepted papers will be published by IEEE and also included in the IEEE Digital Library. Authors of selected research papers of outstanding quality will be invited to submit an extended version to IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics.
