Conference Focus
Services have increased their economic significance in the post-industrialized society. However, it raises great challenges for MOT practitioners and scholars in managing firms, industries and nations shifted from the manufacturing-base to the service-base. It has gradually become vivid that the development of the technology-service convergences might provide an essential growth engine to all parties. Consequently, the IAMOT 2012 Taiwan Conference will focus on the new theories, ideas, frameworks, and tools dealing with these convergences so that we can all benefit from them. Besides the general MOT research topics, we are very welcome the following sub-themes:

Managing technology-service convergences (e.g., System integration, MOT in services…)
Technology “servitization” (e.g., Manufacturing as service…)
