MMHS 2021 - 4th International Workshop on (Meta)Modelling for Healthcare Systems

MMHS 2020 would be the fourth workshop in the MMHS workshop series focus-ing on modeling and metamodeling for healthcare systems. E-health is one of thefastest growing ict markets. According to mordor intelligence the market sharefor e-health was estimated as usd 124 billion in 2016 and is projected to reachUSD 244 billion by 2021, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR)of 14.56% during the forecast period. Major software and ICT infrastructurecompanies are currently investing for this growth. Although meta modelling ap-proaches have been successfully used in industrial projects and standards defini-tions there is remarkably little use of mdse techniques in the healthcare domain.The use of mdse has potential to tackle problems such as software interoper-ability, formalization and simulation of work processes and clinical guidelines,domain specific abstractions, etc. The goal of this workshop will hence be tocreate a forum for healthcare systems developers and researchers on one sideand modeling researchers and the modeling community on the other side
