OVERVIEW
How can you tell if an individual is exhibiting toxic behaviours or is merely having a “bad day?” While researching the range of abuse in organizations, I developed the Crossing the Line model© of personal behaviours in organizations. The Crossing the Line model© represents an analysis of bad behaviours, and labels used for toxic individuals described in scientific papers, self-help, and management books. This seminar discusses the nine zones of behaviours in organizations, 11 markers of increasing intensity of harm, and seven personal boundary designations revealed from this literature, along with the types of harm that signify each zone.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Learn the range of behaviors and critical markers of toxic individuals that appear in organizations
Learn the difference between incivility and more toxic behaviors
Understand how these different behaviors signal the need for distinct management solutions
Learn how the different behaviors affect the person who is the target
Learn the one sure-fire way to handle potential behavioral issues
WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND
Do you regularly deal with problem employees and behaviours in your organization? This webinar will help you understand if you are dealing with accidental behaviours, incivility, or a real problem.
