SBCCI 2012 - 25th Symposium on Integrated Circuits and Systems Design
Topics/Call fo Papers
25TH SYMPOSIUM ON INTEGRATED CIRCUIT AND SYSTEMS DESIGN
CHIP IN BRASILIA
August 30 - 02, 2012 - Brasilia, DF - Brazil
Call for Papers
SBCCI is an international forum dedicated to integrated circuits and systems design, test and electronic design automation (EDA), held annually in Brazil. The 25th SBCCI will take place at Brasília, Brazil's capital. The goal of the symposium is to bring together researchers in the areas of EDA, design and test of integrated circuits and systems. The scope of the symposium includes technical sessions, tutorials and panels, as well as an exhibition and working group meetings. The best papers presented at the symposium will be invited to resubmit an extended version to be considered for publication at the IEEE Design & Test and at the JICS - Journal of Integrated Circuits and Systems.
SBCCI strongly encourages international submissions. Prospective authors from around the world are invited to submit original manuscripts in English for consideration by the Program Committee. Manuscripts must contain a maximum of 10 pages, using 11-point font or larger and 1.5 or double spacing and be prepared for blind review. Authors are encouraged to submit the paper in the final publication version as two-column, 6-page papers, following the ACM Press guidelines.
Submissions of manuscripts previously published at other conferences or journals will not be considered for publication by the program committee. SBCCI submissions must be made electronically (in PDF format) via the conference website. Authors should include the complete address, phone/fax numbers and email address, and designate a contact person and a presenter. For proposals on special sessions, tutorials, panels and tool demos, please email a short description to the program chairs directly in advance of the submission deadline. For additional inquiries on submissions, please contact the program chairs. The proceedings will be published by the ACM Press and will remain available at the ACM Digital Library
Important Dates
Abstract Submission: March 23th, 2012
Paper Submission Deadline: March 30th, 2012
Notification of Acceptance : May 18th, 2012
Camera-Ready Deadline : June 08th, 2012
Tracks
In this edition the submissions to SBCCI will be made to one of four tracks, whichever is the most appropriate at the authors judgment. Efforts are going towards a fair balance of the published papers in equal parts in the different areas.
The tracks and their respective Track Chairs are organized as follows:
Track 1: Analog & RF & Mixed Signal
Track Chair: Carlos Galup, UFSC - Brazil
RF Design
Analog and mixed signal designs
Micro-electromechanical systems
Nanoelectronic circuits and nanoarchitectures
Harvesting / Scavenging Energy circuits
Track 2: CAD, Verification & Test
Track Chair: Fernando Moraes, PUCRS - Brazil
Physical Design
System and circuit synthesis
Design space and architectural exploration
Design verification and simulation
Testability issues and design for test techniques
Track 3: Digital, Reconfigurable & Applications
Track Chair: Diana Göhringer, Fraunhofer IOSB - DE
Design, specification and modeling languages and applications
Reconfigurable architectures and novel applications of FPGAs
