2021 Workshop on Applications and Technologies of Computer Vision ( WATCV 2021) is a wokshop of CGDIP 2021, which is organized by Asia Pacific Institute of Science and Engineering (APISE). WATCV 2021 will be held in Athens, Greece during July 8-10, 2021.
●Speakers
Prof. Shahram Latifi, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, USA
IEEE Fellow, He is currently a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Latifi is the co-director of the Center for Information Technology and Algorithms (CITA) at UNLV. His research has been funded by NSF, NASA, DOE, DoD, Boeing, Lockheed and Cray Inc.
Prof. Irwin King, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong S. A. R., China
Prof. King's research interests include machine learning, social computing, web intelligence, data mining, and multimedia information processing. In these research areas, he has over 210 technical publications in journals (JMLR, ACM TOIS, IEEE TNN, Neurocomputing, NN, IEEE BME, PR, IEEE SMC, JAMC, JASIST, IJPRAI, DSS, etc.) and conferences (NIPS, IJCAI, CIKM, SIGIR, KDD, PAKDD, ICDM, WWW, WI/IAT, WCCI, IJCNN, ICONIP, ICDAR, etc.).
Dr. Hai-Ning Liang, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, China
Dr. Hai-Ning Liang is a Senior Associate Professor with the Department of Computing at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), Suzhou, China. He is serving as Head of the department. He is also the founding deputy director of both the Suzhou Key Lab for Virtual Reality Technologies and the Virtual Engineering Center at XJTLU.
●Publication and Indexing
1. All the registered and presented papers will be published in the volume of conference proceeding, which will be submitted to Engineering Village, Scopus, Thomson Reuters (WoS) and other databases for review and indexing.
2. Sepcial Issue on Advanced Computational Intelligence Methods for Processing Brain Imaging Data, which will be published in Frontiers in Neuroscience (Brain Imaging Methods),index by SCOPUS, SCIE and other databases
