ISGT 2011 - 2011 IEEE PES Conference on Innovative Smart Grid Technologies - Middle East (ISGT Middle East)

IEEE PES Western Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with King Abdullah University for Science and Technology (KAUST) and Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) will organize the First IEEE-PES Conference in Middle East on Innovative Smart Grid Technologies in December 2011.

There are many initiatives on Smart Grids to seek the type of solutions Smart Grids offer in terms of enhancing benefits to all stakeholders, improving services to customers, reducing peak loads and related investments, as well as environmental benefits, such as minimization of the carbon foot print related to electrical generation and energy use.

The Conference will be the opportunity for power utilities, regulators, ministries representatives, researchers, universities, system operators, generators, consumers, manufacturers to meet, discuss, exchange and cooperate in the area of Smart Grid.

The Conference Organizing Committee invites researchers and practitioners worldwide to submit papers for review and possible presentation. The Conference scope covers a wide area of topics with respect to smart grids
