- Voice signal processing algorithms for hands-free mobile communication

- Exploiting current speech-to-text and text-to-speech algorithms and study their effectiveness for smartphones

- Efficient data dissemination and routing algorithms for smartphone ad-hoc networks

- Privacy and security on smartphone ad-hoc networks

Real-time Assurance

- Qos ad-hoc routing algorithms with low overhead and computational complexity

- VoIP over ad-hoc mobile networks

- Experimental evaluation for real-time VoIP transmission system for ad-hoc mobile networks

- Exploiting smartphone capabilities for implementing different error correction and detection algorithms
