MySEC 2011 - 2011 5th Malaysian Conference in Software Engineering (MySEC)

MySEC’11 is the fifth regional conference dedicated to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia, industry and government to advance the state-of-the-art of software engineering research and practice. The program will provide numerous opportunities for academic and industry participants to collaborate and learn from each other. MySEC’ 11 will be hosted in Johor Bahru situated in Iskandar Malaysia on the December 13th and 14th 2011.

The theme of MySEC'11 this year is “Creative Solutions Towards Sustainable Software”. Sustainable software is sought by many as this can overcome the costs incur after the software is initially delivered, and most importantly to facilitate in maintaining the software once after it is implemented for much longer time. Whilst there could be many ways to overcome the challenges, we believe creative solutions could bring in greater ideas that open up new paths in software engineering community. MySEC'11 is aimed at creating a platform for fruitful interactions and discussion among academics, researchers and practitioners in their ultimate aim in producing sustainable software with creative solutions.
