The Second International Workshop on Advanced Computational Intelligence (IWACI2009) will be held in Mexico City, as a sequel of IWACI2008 successfully held in Macao. IWACI2009 aims to explore advanced techniques and approaches in the field of computational intelligence for innovative applications. The workshop will provide an opportunity for researchers to present and disseminate their latest on-going research work and a chance to share their research work with other internationally renowned researchers.
IWACI2009 Proceedings will be published in Springer\'s book series Advances in Intelligent and Soft Computing. In addition, a special issue of extended accepted papers will be published by the SCI-indexed journal International Journal of Neural Systems.
Topic Areas
The workshop includes topics on neural networks, fuzzy systems, and evolutionary computation. However, the workshop will favor papers representing advanced theories and innovative applications. Papers will be selected based on originality, significance, technical quality, and clarity.
Call for Papers (PDF)
Prospective authors are invited to submit a full paper not exceeding 30 double-spaced manuscript pages to IWACI2009. All submitted papers will be refereed by experts in the respective fields according to the criteria of originality, significance, quality, and clarity. Authors should submit their papers via the IWACI2009 Online Paper Submission System by April 15, 2009.
