The 2011 Asia-Pacific International Lightning Conference and Technical Exhibition will be held in Chengdu, from Tuesday, November 1 through Friday, November 4, 2011. Since the first Asia Lightning Protection Forum (ALPF) had been launched in Beijing in 2003 by China, Japan and Korea, it has been held in Seoul, Tokyo, Guangzhou, Cheju, and Yokohama. ALPF has become an important event in lightning protection in Asia.
