ICEEM 2011 - 6th International Conference Environmental Engineering and Management ICEEM 06

The 6th edition of ICEEM adds a new dimension to its international character, for the first time being organized outside the borders of its home country. This was possible thanks to the ever strengthening bilateral relations of its organizing institutions: the University of Pannonia Veszprém, Hungary and the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi, Romania.

So, the 6th edition of ICEEM will be held on the beautiful shores of Balaton Lake, Hungary, which we hope that represents an additional reason for participation and that will contribute to a very pleasant and warm atmosphere during the ICEEM06 sessions.

Under the name of GREEN FUTURE, this edition of ICEEM proposes an insight into the future of environmental engineering and management practices and instruments and it strongly encourages contributions that focus on multidisciplinarity and cross-sectorial approaches to tackling environmental issues. Furthermore, the ICEEM06 conference welcomes contributions of young and senior scientists, but at the same time it encourages practitioners and specialists in various environmental fields to add a more practical-oriented approach to the conference sessions.

We hope that the seminars, workshops, plenary sessions and side-events of ICEEM, will enhance multidisciplinarity, international cooperation and effective communication of scientists, engineers and managers.
