Sibgrapi 2011 - XXIV Sibgrapi ? Conference on Graphics, Patterns and Images

Sibgrapi 2011 will be the 24th Conference on Graphics, Patterns and Images (formerly Brazilian Symposium on Computer Graphics and Image Processing). It will be held in the beautiful city of Maceió, Alagoas, Brazil, between August 28th and August 31st, 2011. Sibgrapi is annually promoted by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) through the CEGRAPI committee, in cooperation with the Eurographics Association. Information on past Sibgrapi events can be found at the CEGRAPI committee page. Sibgrapi 2011 is being organized by the Institute of Mathematics of the Universidade Federal de Alagoas (UFAL).

Proceedings of the previous editions of Sibgrapi are available on-line at IEEE Xplore since 1997. Moreover, special effort has been made to publish extended versions of the best papers in special issues of well-qualified journals of the related areas. In the last years, extended versions of the best papers have been published in special issues of some important journals: Image and Vision Computing, Pattern Analysis and Applications, Computerized Medical Imaging and Graphics, Journal of Mathematical Imaging and Vision, Pattern Recognition Letters, Computers & Graphics, Computer Graphics Forum, The Visual Computer, International Journal of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence.
Researchers, students and professionals are invited to participate by submitting works in all areas of Computer Graphics, Image Processing, Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition. Please see the Calls for more information.
