5th Asia Conference on Power and Electrical Engineering (ACPEE 2020). ACPEE 2020 will be hosted in Chengdu, China from Jun. 4 to 7, 2020, which is organized by Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers(HKSME), technically sponsored by IEEE PES, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Auckland University of Technology, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and IEEE PES Chongqing Chapter, Media supported by Journals Center, China Electric Power Research Institute, undertaken by Sichuan Nuo Yi Convention & Exhibition Service Co., Ltd.
We warmly welcome prospective authors to submit your research papers to ACPEE 2020, and share your latest research results and valuable experiences with other top-scientists, engineers and scholars from all over the world.

1) Accepted papers will be published into conference proceedings. The conference proceedings will be included in IEEE Xplore and indexed by Ei Compendex, Scopus, CPCI and other databases for review and indexing.
2） Selected papers with great extension will be recommended to publish in international SCI, EI indexed journals as follows:

Prof. Joe H. Chow，Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, USA
He is a fellow of IEEE and a member of the US National Academy of Engineering. He is also the campus director of the NSF/DOE Engineering Research Center on Ultra-Wide-Area Resilient Electric Energy Transmission Networks (CURENT ERC). His research interests include modeling and control of large power systems and synchrophasor measurements. He is a recipient of the Donald Eckman award from the American Automatic Control Council, the Control Systems Technology Award from the IEEE Control Systems Society, and the Charles Concordia Power System Engineering Award from the IEEE Power and Energy Society.

Dean Sharafi is heading System Management, the operator ofSouth-West Interconnected System in Australia. He is a member of Australian Institute of Management, Cigre,Engineers Australia and a senior member the IEEE.

Prof. Qi Huang，University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, China
He is currently a professor at University of Electronics Science and Technology of China (UESTC), and the director of Sichuan State Provincial Lab of Power System Wide-area Measurement and Control. He is a member of IEEE since 1999. His current research and academic interests include power system instrumentation, power system monitoring and control,and power system wide-area measurement and control.Dr. Qi Huang is IET Fellow and IEEE senior member.
Prof. Guoqian Chen, Peking University, China
Guoqian Chen is a professor of systems ecology and sustainability science at Peking University, China, and a Distinguished Adjunct Professor in the Center of Research Excellence of Renewable Energy and Power Systems at King Abdullaziz University, Saudi Arabia. He has a wide spectrum of research interests including climate thermodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer, renewable energy and resources, systems ecological modelling, ecological economics, global and regional sustainability studies, systems input-output technique.

Prof. Juan Yu,Chongqing University, China
Prof. Juan Yu currently serves as the Chairwoman of the Task Force on Composite Reliability Assessment of IEEE PES and the Chairwoman of IEEE PES Chongqing chapterShe is a senior member of IEEE.Her primary areas include the risk assessment and control of electric power and energy systems, deep learning and big data technology.
Prof. Zhifang Yang,hongqing University, China
He is the principle investigator of projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, State Grid Corp. of China, and other companies. He serves as the vice-chair of Task Force on Composite Reliability Assessment of IEEE PES, secretary of IEEE PES Chongqing chapter.
Ian Porter，Sustainable Energy Now Inc., Australia
Ian has broad 45 years of experience in the oil, gas, nuclear and conventional power industries in roles ranging from R&D, project management, business development and over the last 20 years has concentrated on energy technology commercialisation with all of his current activities focused on renewable energy.
Dr. Lijie Ding, State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Research Institute, China
Lijie Ding received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2008. Now he is a professorate senior engineer, the chief engineer of the State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Research Institute and an engineering expert of State Grid Corporation of China. He has extensive industrial experience in power grid construction, operation, management and scientific research.
