ROSE 2011 - 2011 IEEE International Symposium on Robotic and Sensors Environments (ROSE)
Topics/Call fo Papers
The focus of the ROSE conference series is on sensing systems and technologies for robotics and industrial automation, as well as their impact on autonomous robotics and intelligent systems development and applications.
Papers are solicited on all aspects of sensing systems and technologies for robotics and industrial automation, human-robot cooperation, multimodal or distributed sensing, and perception technologies. These include, but are not limited to: sensor controlled systems, collaborative manufacturing, inspection and quality control, human and robot interaction, tele-operation, robot manipulation, mobile robotics, rescue robots, swarm robotics, and also on robot sensors and vision, environment monitoring, intelligent sensing, machine vision and image processing, 3D sensing and modeling, sensor fusion, new sensor technologies, and distributed sensor networks.
The 2011 edition of the IEEE International Symposium on RObotic and Sensors Environments is sponsored by the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society.
ROSE 2011 will take place at École Polytechnique de Montréal in Montréal, Québec, Canada, on 17-18 September 2011. Montreal is a multicultural and bilingual metropole and a major commercial, industrial and cultural hub, well known for its superb cuisine, vibrant nighlife, and festivals. Montréal is easily reached by land, water and air. Visitors will find this city very friendly, and can easily and safely explore its vibrant neighbourhoods on foot.
Important Dates:
* June 1, 2011: Paper submission deadline
* July 15, 2011: Notification of acceptance/rejection
* August 15, 2011: Submission of final camera-ready manuscript and registration
* October 31, 2011: Extended version for IEEE TIM Special Issue
