Why Should You Attend:
Webinar participants will learn about the process approach as described in ISO 9001:2008, how to audit a process-based system. The participants will see an example, the improvement process, defining it in terms of plan, do, check and act (PDCA). PDCA is an effective tool for developing the audit structure. The improvement process will be structured based on specific clauses of ISO 9001:2008.

We will analyze a process-based system. This consists of identifying for each process an owner, the inputs and outputs, the constraints and controls and the activities of each process in terms of the PDCA. This provides a tool for continual improvement of each process. Panelist will point out places where the process approach can be improved.

Next, the participants will learn about the eight basic processes of a system. These are: management of the quality system, top management involvement, customer focus, the improvement process design and development, supplier management, product provision (including control of outsourced processes), and resource management . The improvement process is described and its audit structure is provided as an example.
