This multidisciplinary conference encourages participation of teachers and researchers who are interested in the following research areas: insurance, corporate finance and investments, public finance, financial markets and institutions, macroeconomic stability, banking. The conference language is English.
Keynote speakers: Professor emeritus Josef C. BRADA, PhD (Arizona State University), and Professor Florin GEORGESCU, PhD (NBR First Deputy Governor).
Papers will be evaluated for originality, significance, clarity, and contribution. Submitted papers must not have been previously published or currently submitted for publication elsewhere. At the conference will be accepted maximum two papers for each participant.
All papers presented at the conference are eligible to be considered for publication in one of the following international peer-reviewed academic journals: Economic Computation and Economic Cybernetics Studies and Research, Applied Economics Quarterly, Comparative Economic Studies, Review of Finance and Banking, Theoretical and Applied Economics, Romanian Journal of Fiscal Policy.
Paper Submission Deadline EXTENDED: February 19, 2018
Notification of paper acceptance/rejection: February 28, 2018 by e-mail to the corresponding author.
Deadline for fee payment for accepted papers: March 08, 2018
Submit the receipt confirming the payment of the conference fee until March 12, 2018

Paper presenters are expected to discuss one other paper during the conference FI BA 2018. The discussant assignments will be made by the conference organizers until March 19, 2018. Each paper will be send to the discussant by the conference organizers.
Conference: March 29-30, 2018, Bucharest, Romania.
Conference venue: FACULTY OF FINANCE AND BANKING from Bucharest University of Economic Studies (address: 5-7 Mihail Moxa Street, Bucharest, Romania).
The conference fee is EUR 100 (or equivalent in lei at NBR exchange rate) for each paper. Discounted conference fee of EUR 70 is available for PhD students and it is applicable only if all the authors are PhD students.
The conference fee must be paid until March 08, 2018 by means of bank transfer to the bank account indicated on the conference website.
