The 28th annual IEEE International Symposium on Software Reliability Engineering invites you to attend and contribute to the leading conference in its field. ISSRE focuses on innovative, high-impact techniques and tools for assessing, predicting, and improving the reliability, safety, and security of software products. ISSRE emphasizes industrial relevance and rigorous empirical studies.
ISSRE has grown over the years to become one of the few forums where the technical leadership from both academic institutions and economic players meet to learn from each other. Research papers are extensively reviewed by a large program committee and the selected papers are coveted. An Industry committee separately reviews papers for the Industry track looking for relevance and applicability. ISSRE has some of the best Industry case studies reported. We also take special pride in our workshops, which have picked up considerable momentum with some becoming regular and meeting year after year at ISSRE.
-----
CALL FOR RESEARCH PAPERS:
-----
The main research track at ISSRE 2017 is soliciting original, unpublished research papers in three categories: (1) full research (regular) papers, (2) practical experience reports, and (3) wild and provocative ideas (WAP) papers. Papers will be assessed with criteria appropriate to each category. ISSRE looks for works exploring new territory, continuing a significant research, or reflecting on practical experience. There will be a best paper award given to a paper in the main research track. Both full research papers and practical experience reports are eligible for the award.
-----
CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS:
-----
ISSRE strongly encourages workshops as a means to build communities and seed new ones that are vital to current interests in Research and Industry. Proposals will be reviewed by the ISSRE 2017 Organizing Committee based on their fitness with ISSRE's goals, relevance to the larger ISSRE community and our belief that the organizers can deliver a successful workshop. Workshop length can be either half day or one full day.
The CFPs for the Industry Track, Tutorials, Doctoral Symposium and Fast Abstracts can also be found at the conference website.
