WSSNA 2017 - International Workshop on Smart Sensor Networks and Applications (WSSNA'17)

The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers, academics and scholars to the forefront of research activity on smart Wireless Sensor Networks. The specific profile of this workshop is to promote the state-of-the-art in scientific and practical research of the sensors technologies and examine the research opportunities and applications. The workshop is an excellent opportunity to present the current challenges and future opportunities in building smart sensor networks and new wireless architectures in an efficient and sustainable way. Overall the goal is to provide a thorough overview of the main topics about smart sensor technologies and their envisioned integration.
International speakers from academia and industry will give lectures tailoring their research field for an interdisciplinary audience. During the workshop, a dedicated discussion panel will bring into focus the collaboration between academia and industry in order to depict the future vision of smart sensors.
