Introduction
The services computing is a new cross-discipline that covers the science and technology needed to bridge the gap between business services and IT/telecommunication services. The goal of services computing is to develop new computing technology and thereby enable more advanced IT/telecommunication services to support business services more efficiently and effectively.
APSCC 2016 is an important forum for researchers and industry practitioners to exchange ideas regarding advancements in the state of art and practice of IT/telecommunication-driven business services and application services, as well as to identify emerging research topics and define the future directions of Services Computing.
Previous APSCC conferences were held in Guangzhou, China (2006), Tsukuba Science City, Japan (2007), Yilan, Taiwan, China (2008), Biopolis, Singapore (2009), Hangzhou, China (2010), Jeju, Korea (2011), Guilin, China (2012), Fuzhou, China (2014), and Bangkok, Thailand (2015). As the tenth event in the increasingly popular series, APSCC 2016 expects to attract outstanding researchers from all over the world to Zhangjiajie - one of the most beautiful cities in China.

Submission and Publication Information
All papers need to be submitted electronically through the conference website (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=apscc2016) with PDF format. Submitted papers must not substantially overlap with papers that have been published or that are simultaneously submitted to a journal or a conference with proceedings. Papers must be clearly presented in English, must not exceed 14 pages including tables, figures, references and appendixes. Papers will be selected based on their originality, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation assessed by at least three reviewers. Submission of a paper should be regarded as a commitment that, should the paper be accepted, at least one of the authors will register and attend the conference to present the work. APSCC'16 reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from the digital library and index service), if the paper is not presented at the conference. Part II: Call for Workshop Proposals, APSCC 2016, Zhangjiajie, China, November 16-18, 2016
---
---
The APSCC 2016 workshops provide vibrant opportunities for researchers and industry practitioners to share their research experience, original research results and practical development experiences on specific new challenges and emerging issues.
The organizers and chairs of the workshop shall have responsibility of the call for papers, forming program committee, review and selection of papers as well as planning the workshop program. The registration fee for workshops will be determined by the conference (not the workshop itself). The fees will be paid to the conference, and the conference will provide workshop facilities including the working notes printing, the meeting room, coffee break, lunch, dinner, proceedings, etc.
The proceedings of the APSCC 2016 workshops will be published by Springer LNCS series (Indexed by EI).
Prospective workshop organizers should send a proposal containing the following information to APSCC 2016 Workshop Chairs:
- Title of the workshop (Full name and Abbreviation)
- Objectives, scope, and contribution to the main conference (up to 1 page)
- Short bio of the key organizers and their experience on conference/workshop organization
- Procedure for selecting papers, plans for dissemination (for example, how to advertise and special issues of journals), and the expected number of participants
- A tentative list of program committee members
- The workshop website URL address
Approved workshops should strictly follow the important dates, particularly the paper status notification and camera-ready dates. The submission deadline could be later than that of the main conference. But a workshop should have sufficient time, say 5-7 weeks, for generating peer reviews. Generally, each paper should receive 3 peer reviews.
We look forward to your stimulating proposals and contributions to APSCC 2016 workshops. A workshop proposal should be submitted to workshop chairs via email by April 1, 2016: {jemal DOT abawajy AT deakin DOT edu DOT au; tommaso DOT pecorella AT unifi DOT it; gracelq628 AT 126 DOT com}
