FIRE 2015 invites submissions of full and short papers from information retrieval, natural language processing and related domains.
The 7th meeting of Forum for Information Retrieval Evaluation 2015 will be held in Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Gandhinagar, India. Started in 2008 with the aim of building a South Asian counterpart for TREC, CLEF and NTCIR, FIRE has since evolved continuously to meet the new challenges in multilingual information access. It has since expanded to include new domains like plagiarism detection, legal information access, mixed script information retrieval and spoken document retrieval to name a few.
This year's edition of FIRE will show a marked departure from its status as an evaluation workshop for South Asian languages. FIRE 2015 while continuing its traditional evaluation activities, will for the first time introduce a peer-reviewed conference track. ACM DL will publish the conference proceedings, and the workshop proceedings will be published by CEUR-WS.

The review process will be double-blind and authors should not mention their names or institutional details anywhere in the paper. Authors should refer to themselves in the 3rd person when citing their own work. Expressions like “In our earlier work...” or “We previously showed that...” should be avoided when submitting the paper for review.
There will be two categories of papers:
Full papers: Full paper submissions should not exceed 6 pages with 2 additional pages for references or appendices if needed/applicable.
Short papers: Short paper length will be up to 3 pages plus 1 additional page for references or appendices if needed/applicable.
Authors will decide the category of their paper depending on the length of the paper. They will also decide the area/track of their submissions. The submitted papers must follow ACM SIG’s template available on http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-t.... Submission links will be made available on FIRE website.
