Topics/Call fo Papers

It has been fifteen years since the leaders of 189 countries established the Millennium Declaration which outlined eight target areas of concern to be achieved by the year 2015. The MDGs emphasize shared accountability and reciprocal obligations among developed and developing countries for key development outcomes. In addition, the global MDG effort rests on the premise that participation of every member of society is essential to the attainment of these goals. Not only is cooperation needed between countries, but campaigns need to mobilize society and bring together different actors of society ? governments, private sector, civil society, the general public and the media ? to be successful.
The 2015 Asian Conference on the Millennium Development Goals invites scholarly interactions among academics, researchers, doctoral students, and representatives from industry, entrepreneurs, and non-profit and non-governmental organization professionals.
The conference theme of Educating for the Future seeks to explore such issues and their links to the notion of sustainability through the combined and holistic lenses of an interdisciplinary approach. Authors are welcome to submit from a range of topics, perspectives, and disciplines.
Asia MDGs 2015 is an international, peer-reviewed congress. Full papers are welcome, but not required. Registered participants with an accepted abstract and/or refereed full paper will be published in the Asia MDGs 2015 Congress Proceedings (ISSN 2188-398X).
