TRIOS 2014 - 2014 Conference on Timely Results in Operating Systems

TRIOS '14 is the second iteration of an experimental conference that was first held in conjunction with SOSP 2013. Like OSDI, TRIOS solicits papers presenting original research results on all aspects of computer systems software. The OSDI symposium has an outstanding reputation based, in part, on its low acceptance rate. Many good systems papers are deemed to be not ready for inclusion into OSDI, and in such cases, publication might be delayed by months or sometimes years. TRIOS was created as an outlet to make it possible for strong research contributions that need to be disseminated in a more timely way, and are not ready for acceptance into OSDI, to be published more promptly, thereby benefitting the authors and the operating systems community.
