The Research Data Access and Preservation Summit 2014 will feature three days of programming with an emphasis on practical approaches to research data management, access, and preservation, including success stories (and lessons learned), innovative research, and resources and tools developed by and for the community. The program will include invited panels and presentations, an interactive poster session, lightning talks, and a hands-on workshop. Keep up with RDAP news by joining our Listserv, following us on Twitter or visiting our Facebook page.
Who should attend?
The program will target the interests and needs of data managers and curators, librarians who work with research data, and researchers and data scientists. A wide range of disciplines from the life sciences, physical sciences, social sciences, and humanities will be represented. The summit will bring together practitioners and researchers from academic institutions, data centers, funding agencies, and industry.
Why attend RDAP14?
RDAP14 offers attendees the unique chance to interact with and learn from practitioners and researchers working in a variety of fields on research data management, access, and preservation issues. The summit provides a forum for reaching across disciplines and institutions to work on common solutions to issues surrounding research data management. Participants will have multiple opportunities to expand professional networks and acquire practical knowledge and skills that can be applied to their own work and projects.
What’s New at RDAP14?
This year we are excited to announce that we have an open call for two panel presentation sessions in addition to our curated panels, interactive poster sessions and a round of lightning talks. We have also added two half-day workshops on Friday, March 28th
