SPECIAL SESSION: Ubiquitous Multimedia Services and Applications
for Residential Users
The technology of multimedia services on Internet, particularly about
multimedia applications for residential users, demonstrates exponentialgrowth in research and industrial. To share the experiences of research,
development, deployment and maintenance, this special session invites
worldwide colleagues to present their contributions in (but not limited)
1. QoS technology for multimedia networks
2. Client and server design for mobile multimedia services
3. Multimedia cloud service systems
4. Software and hardware implementations/designs for mobile
multimedia applications
5. Intelligent multimedia services for smart home
6. Signal processing approaches for multimedia communications and
networks
7. Multimedia applications for e-commerce, education, health-care, and
learning.
8. Multimedia signal processing and algorithms for streaming, caching
and multicasting systems
9. Systems implementation for residential multimedia services
Important Dates
November 11, 2013: Paper Submission Due.
February 10, 2014: Notification of Acceptance.
February 24, 2014: Camera Ready Submission.
SUBMISSION OF PAPERS
Papers are invited from prospective authors with interests in this
particular special session and related areas of application. All
contributions should be original and not published elsewhere or intended
to be published during the review period. Contributions from more applied
related fields in industry and commerce are very welcome. All papers are
to be submitted electronically in PDF format to the special session
