Real-World Practice System dynamics, at its heart, is aimed at solving important practical problems. For the 2013 conference we are looking to attract people interested in such real-world applications: those for whom it is the problem solving rather than the methodology that is paramount. If you have ideas for sessions and workshops focused on addressing practical issues that you think would appeal to clients or colleagues in specific commercial or scientific fields please contact us.
Program The theme of the conference is Creating the Future from Within. The conference program will consist of invited and contributed sessions and workshops demonstrating the state of the art in the theory and application of system dynamics. We welcome all research and documented consulting activities in system dynamics, including applications of the methodology to solve real world problems, new technical and software developments, and productive integration of complementary methodologies in order to create new solutions. The conference schedule is organized by thread so as to create coherent sessions for presentation. The tentative list of threads for 2013 is:
?Business
?Economic Dynamics
?Environment and Ecology
?Health
?Information Science
?Methodology
?Operations Management and Supply Chains
?Participatory Problem Solving
?Public Policy
?Security
?Social and Organizational Dynamics

Abstracts will not be accepted!
Provision of models (maximum file size 2 MB in addition to the paper) and other supporting materials to aid the review process is strongly encouraged and will be a factor in paper evaluation.
