Topics/Call fo Papers

Multi-core processors are highly parallelized processors. Today, Multi-core systmes are now a much richer environment and has been applied to research domains including: image processing, molecular dynamics, astrophysics, financial simulation, computer tomography, quantum chemistry, bioinformatics and many others. In many of these applications, a speedup of 20-100X has been realized.
The goal of this workshop is to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to discuss and share their research and development experiences and outputs on the massively parallel GPU platforms, multi-core system, optimization techniques, parallel algorithm design, applications, bioinformatics and all kinds of successful applications.
SCOPE AND TOPICS

EMCA seeks original contributions in all relevant areas, including but not limited to the following topics:
?Performance Modeling and Benchmarking
?Middleware and Libraries
?Self-configuration and Fault-tolerance
?Multi-core computing and applications
?Parallel algorithm on Multi-core systems
?Mulit-core Clusters
?Bioinformatics on Mulit-core systems
?Applications on Mulit-core Computing
We invite you to submit papers with unpublished, original research describing recent advances on the areas related to this workshop. All papers will undergo peer review by the conference program committee. All papers accepted will be included in the Workshop Proceedings published by the IEEE Computer Society Press (EI indexed) and will be available at the workshops. Authors of selected papers will be invited to extend their papers for submission to special issues in prestigious Journals.
PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINE

All papers need to be submitted electronically through the conference website ( http://grid.chu.edu.tw/emca2012/sub) with PDF format. The materials presented in the papers should not be published or under submission elsewhere. Each paper is limited to 8 pages (or 10 pages with over length charge) including figures and references using IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Manuscripts style (two columns, single-spaced, 10 fonts). You can confirm the IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Author Guidelines at the following web page: http://www.computer.org/portal/web/cscps/formattin.... Please submit your paper through for EMCA 2012.
Once accepted, the paper will be included into the IEEE conference proceedings published by IEEE Computer Society Press (indexed by EI).
