This scientific meeting will be held in the central university area, in front of the historic castle of Münster, in the middle of downtown Münster, a picturesque historic town in the northwestern part of Germany. University of Münster with more than 40.000 students and an exciting research profile is one of the biggest and leading universities in Germany.

Topics of the meeting:
Natural products against neglected diseases
Glycobiology
Plant phenols: structure, analytics and activities
Skin active natural products
Hyphenated analytical techniques and target fishing
Clinical interactions of natural products and herbal remedies
Computational methods in natural products chemistry
Ethnopharmacology of Tibetian medicine
Ethnopharmacology of African medicine
Scientific contributions in other topics related to medicinal plant research will also be welcome. In order to promote the impact of poster presentation three poster sessions at central time frames within the congress will bring together scientist from different disciplines. Four workshops will deepen various aspects of medicinal plant research. Strong emphasis will be on interactions between scientists from academia and industry, powered by special interactive events. Beside the scientific programme, a full social programme will be offered, which will leave you with unforgettable memories of Münster and its garden-like surroundings.

Interactive Event
Initiation of interactions and projects between academia, industry and funding organizations: Bringing together three different worlds to promote sciences, research and development.

Location: University of Münster
Lectures will be held in the Central University Building, Posters will be presented and discussed in a special tent in front of the historic Münster Castle (200 m away from the lecture halls). Get-together and social events will be held in the Münster Castle, directly at the Poster Tent. All activities are in the very middle of the historic center of Münster.
