The 7th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (ICAIR 2022) is in conjunction with the 7th International Conference on Automation, Control and Robotics Engineering (CACRE 2022), the ICAIR 2022 is co-organized by Xi'an Jiaotong University and Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers(HKSME), sponsored by Georgia Institute of Technology, Sichuan University and York University. The conference will be held at Xi'an, China from July 14 to 16, 2022.
The ICAIR has been held for six years since 2016, attracting scholars and students from all over the world. The ICAIR 2022 Conference will provide a wonderful forum for you to update your knowledge base and explore the innovations in Artificial Intelligence, Control and Robotics Engineering. The conference will strive to offer you plenty of networking opportunities to meet and interact with the leading scientists, engineers and researchers, friends and colleagues as well as sponsors and exhibitors. We hope you will join us for the festival of outstanding science and technology, and also take some time to enjoy the spectacular and unique beauty of surrounding regions in Xi'an.

All the registered and presented papers will be included in the conference proceeding, which will be submitted to Engineering Village, Scopus, Thomson Reuters (Wos) and other databases for review and indexing.

Prof. Elizabeth Croft, Monash University, Australia
Professor Elizabeth Croft is Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Monash University where she oversees over 9,000 students and 600 academic and professional staff, with programs in Australia, China, Malaysia and India. Originally from Canada, she completed a B.A.Sc. (University of British Columbia), a M.A.Sc. (University of Waterloo), and a Ph.D. (University of Toronto) in Mechanical Engineering. Fellow of the ASME, Engineers Australia, Engineers Canada and the Canadian Academy of Engineering.
Prof. Bin Zi
Hefei University of Technology, China
Dean of school of Mechanical Engineering, Hefei University of Technology, China. Associate editor of ASME Journal of Mechanical Design, editorial member of Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Sciences. Reaserch areas including: Theory, technology and equipment for flexibly driven robots, Intelligent manufacturing system control and automation, Electro-mechanical-hydraulic equipment system integration technology and application.
Prof. Silvia Ferrari
Cornell University, USA
Silvia Ferrari is John Brancaccio Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University. Currently, she is the Director of the Laboratory for Intelligent Systems and Controls (LISC) at Cornell University and the co-Director of the Cornell-Unibo Věho Institute on Vehicle Intelligence at Cornell Tech. Her principal research interests include active perception, robust adaptive control, learning, and approximate dynamic programming, and control of multiscale dynamical systems. She is the author of the book “Information-driven Path Planning and Control,” MIT Press (2020), and of the TED talk “Do robots dreams of electric sheep?”.
Prof. Zhufeng Shao

Zhufeng Shao is an associate professor of Mechanical Engineering Department at Tsinghua University, senior member of China Society of Mechanical Engineering, member of national industrial foundation expert committee, editorial board member of Defense Technology journal and member of national professional standards technical committee. He is also the director of intelligent equipment and system research center at Tsinghua University WUXI research institute of applied technologies. His principal research interests include cable-driven parallel robot, soft robot and intelligent manufacturing.
Prof. Xuechao Duan
Xidian University, China
Xuechao Duan is a professor and deputy director of Research Institute on Mechatronics, Xidian University. He received his B. E. degree in Electrical Engineering, M.E. degree and Ph.D degree in Mechanical Engineering from Xidian University in 2003, 2006 and 2008 respectively. From April 2013 to April 2014, he was a visiting scholar of Design Innovative and Simulation Lab in Ohio State University, USA. From January 2019 to January 2020, he served as deputy Director of Xi’an Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology. Now he is a member of Laboratory of Electronic Equipment Structural Design, senior member of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, member of IET and Automation Committee of Chinese Machinery Industry and Chinese Institute of Electronics. His research interest covers parallel robots, mechatronics and dynamics and control of underactuated mechanical systems.
Assoc. Prof.Xiaoli Bai

Dr. Xiaoli Bai is an Associate Professor in the department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. She was an Associate Fellow for the Class of 2021 in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), a recipient of the 2019 NASA Early Career Faculty award, The 2016 Air Force Office of Scientific Research Young Investigator Research Program award, Outstanding Young Aerospace Engineer Award from Texas A&M University in 2018, A. Water Tyson Assistant Professor Award from Rutgers in 2018, and Amelia Earhart Fellowship.
