The 8th International Conference on Managing Pavement Assets (icmpa2011)will be hosted by the Pontificia Universidad CatÃ?lica de Chile on November 15-19, 2011 in the city of Santiago, Chile.
The central theme of the conference will be "Fulfilling the Social, Economic and Environmental Responsibilities for Sustainable, Well Managed, Better Roadsâ??. Seven topics have been selected to reflect recent developments and needs in the pavement and transportation asset management area:
Performance Based Private Public Partnership (PPP) Projects
Sustainable Design, Construction and Operation of Pavement Assets
Tools to Improve the Decision Process
Preservation and Maintenance of Pavement Assets
Management Practices and Applications
Pavement Performance Modeling, Key Performance Indicators and Implementation Targets
Special Requirements/Situations (Local Roads, Airfields, Developing Areas, Resource Roads, Cold Regions, etc.
