Topics/Call fo Papers

WARM focuses on understanding about the algorithmic complexity and efficiency in realistic models of wireless networks. A recent trend of study of wireless networks is to work on models that capture the reality of wireless communication while maintaining both generality and the feasibility of rigorous algorithmic development. These new approaches, including SINR model, dual graph model, abstract MAC layer, adversarial dynamic network models, etc., either capture the variability of the wireless medium or coding possibilities of the lower layers. We are inviting on new and unpublished papers on realistic modeling and algorithmic design and analysis in all variants of wireless networks, including, but not limited to, wireless mesh and ad hoc networks, wireless sensor networks, cellular networks, cognitive radio networks, MIMO networks and vehicular networks.
Papers accepted by WARM will be will be published to the symposium in Springer-Verlag's Lecture Notes and indexed by EI. Extended versions (with at least 50% extension) of selected papers from the WARM will be published in special issues of Peer-to-Peer Networking and Applications (SCI), EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking (SCI), and Journal of Medical Systems (SCI).
