The International Conference on Artificial Neural Networks (ICANN) is the annual flagship conference of the European Neural Network Society (ENNS). The ideal of ICANN is to bring together researchers from two worlds: information sciences and neurosciences. The scope is wide, ranging from machine learning algorithms to models of real nervous systems. The aim is to facilitate discussions and interactions in the effort towards developing more intelligent computational systems and increasing our understanding on neural and cognitive processes in the brain.
Location
In 2014, the University of Hamburg will organise the 24th ICANN Conference in Hamburg, Germany. Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany, home to about 1.8 million people. Situated on the river Elbe, the port of Hamburg is the second largest port in Europe and often considered the gate to the world. The University of Hamburg is the largest institution for research and education in the north of Germany. We invite all neural network researchers worldwide to join us on September 15?19, 2014.
